Trick-or-treaters got a jump start on their Halloween candy collection with a visit to downtown Salmon Arm.

Once again, businesses welcomed costumed visitors during the annual Downtown Salmon Arm Halloween Treat Trail on Tuesday, Oct. 31. Alexander Street and a portion of Hudson Avenue were closed off to accommodate the afternoon event, intended as a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.
